As we had forgotten to post our June deadline date for Dues this year we will extend our dead line date to Dec 31st of 2024 for all of those who have not paid so far this year.

A show worth seeing. So come on out and enjoy the music of this talented performer.

We have one of our members. Lila Marconcinni to thank for reaching out and bringing Terry to our stage.

Since he is going to be in our area that week she asked if he might perform for us on the  28th of Sept and he agreed to..  So give a big shout out to Lila in being instrumental in getting this show put together for you.. THANK YOU LILA.

 This 5 Member Group has many years of combined experience who still enjoy playing and having fun. The Bigger the audience, the more fun they have.. So Support the Theater and come out and have a good time.

This is a group of young people strating out on on their musical Journey together. their genre is Contemeporary Christian.. We are happy to wecome them back. They put on a very good performance when they were on our stage in June.

The ELECTRIC JAM SESSION for the month of october will be held on Sunday October 13th 2024. 1-4 pm. Bring your instruments and amps if you have one and or bring your voice if you are a singer. Or if you like dancing we have a dance floor in front of the stage for you to enjoy.

The ACOUSTIC JAM SESSION will be held on October 27 (Last Sunday)from 1-4 pm

Bring your acoustic instruments, your voice and anything else you might have that will fit the acoustic envirement.

A big thank you to Kevin Brack.

Kevin is the owner operator of the Dairy Sweet Just west of the ball field in Weeping Water NE. We had lots of garage sale items left from our garage sale Memorial day weekend. Kevin has let us haul these items to his place of business and he has graciously sold most of it for us. He brought in a total of just over $1,000 for us so far. Kevin is a long time club member, but is unable to attend our shows because they occur during his business hours. Sooooooooooo a GREAT BIG THANK YOU to Kevin and all of your efforts in helping the theater out.

Artist of the month

Charley Pride

Charley Pride was born into a family of Sharecroppers in March of 1934 At Sledge Mississippi. He wanted to become a baseball pitcher, which he did when he played for the American Negro league.

While he was active during his baseball career he met and married his wife Rozene, who was with him until his death.

He used to sing at baseball games and that is when he was noticed by Chet Atkins who signed him up for a record deal in 1965.

Over the years his music became very popular and he was voted one of the top Black country singers one the country music scene.

He sang for Ronald Reagan’s inauguration in 1981.

Pride had 2 sons and a daughter.

Sadly Charley Pride passed away in December 2020 from complications of Covid 19 at the age of 86 years old.
