Attendance
We would like to encourage all members who are capable of attending our shows to do so.. Attendance has been poor and our expenses are far outweighing our income that we get from our shows..
In the event this does not happen we may have to close our doors in the near future.
Donations are also an option if you are so inclined.
We are unable to pay bands at this time because of our low amount of income. This makes it difficult to obtain bands. Please tell your friends about us.. and if you can your attendance would be appreciated.

Bands Needed.
As Always we are looking for bands to perform at the Theater
If anyone knows of any bands that would like to donate an evening of their time to come and put on a show, then please encourage them to do so..
We also welcome duet acts, and solo acts.. If they wish we can try and provide back up music for anyone that wishes to come and put on a show..
This is something that is ongoing with the Theater.. Bands will always be needed.. so if you know of a band or hear of a Band, Get our contact information to them so they can be recruited for our shows.. Thank You.

5:30. Meeting opened by President Larry Meyer
Secretary report. Not given.
Treasurer’s report. General fund $4005.11 Building Fund $4848.71.
Motion made to accept treasurers report by Kirk. Seconded by Grace.
Old business: election results are as follows-
President: Larry Meyer-On Rick Stephens-off
Vice-President: Kirk Kubik- On
Treasurer: Grace Kubik- on Larry Meyer- Off
Secretary: Vacancy (interim Kirk Kubik)
Board Members: Addie Idler- On. Art Sellers- (new)and Judy Meyer( new).
Thank you for all those voting and also the members who are serving on the board.
1. September 29th Larry and Kirk will be playing from 5pm to 6 pm at the Lofte Theater’s Fall Festival.
2. Larry looking into recovering our Facebook page since the password was lost by previous administrator. If not recoverable we will start a new page and secure the password.
Still need bands.

New Business:
1. Looking for ways to advertise for free. Suggestions were made to post on city of Louisville’s website. Grace to go to city office to find out.
2. Looking into Bluegrass and Gospel Music groups.
3. Terry Smith booked for 9-28-24.
Ragtag Rascals booked for 10-12-24.
Larry to contact two or three other bands to fill 10-26-24 show
4. It was brought up to talk about renting the theater out to bands for practicing. Several positive and negative aspects of doing such were brought up. Tabled until next meeting.
5. Grace brought up looking into getting Quickbooks to use for the treasurer. She thinks they have a low cost or no cost version for non-profits. She will look into and report at next meeting. Also Larry and Grace will try to accomplish the trade of treasurer duties by October 1,2024.
