⭐ Country Artist of the Month: Connie Smith
Born in West Virginia in 1941, Connie Smith rose to fame after meeting Bill Anderson and moving to Nashville. Her song “Once a Day” topped the Billboard charts for eight weeks and earned her a spot on the Grand Ole Opry. Standing 6’4”, she was even taller than Little Jimmy Dickens!

- Fundraising Ideas: We’re exploring pancake breakfasts at the theater to help raise funds.
- Potluck Recap: Only one person joined the last potluck (we had plenty of food!), but our jam session was a hit with a great turnout.
