🦃 A Note from the Team
Sorry for the delay, folks! We had some technical hiccups with our website that caused a hold-up on this month’s newsletter. We hope you had a fantastic October — maybe you even dressed up as your favorite country music star while handing out candy!
Now, let’s dive right into the meat and potatoes — it is Turkey Month, after all!
🎤 Upcoming November Shows
We’re moving to Sunday afternoons for the winter!
To make it easier for everyone to attend without driving home in the dark, our shows will now run Sundays from 2:00 – 4:30 PM.
We’ll likely return to Saturday evenings in the spring and summer, but we’d love your feedback — let us know which schedule you prefer when March rolls around!
🎶 Sunday, November 16 – The Down Home Band (Silver City, Iowa)
🕑 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM
🎟 Raffle at 3:15 PM
Good old-time music the way it used to be! The Down Home Band is always a delight to listen to — come tap your feet and enjoy a warm afternoon of classic country fun.
🎻 Sunday, November 23 – New Bow Old Strings
🕑 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Al and Cora were a hit when they played here last March, and we’re thrilled to have them back! So dust off your dancing shoes (or add a little wax to them!) and hit the dance floor for an afternoon of great music and community cheer.
👉 We hope to see you there for both shows this month! Bring a friend!
💌 Why Your Attendance Matters
Friends, our attendance has been low, and we need your help to keep the music playing.
Our expenses are currently outweighing the income from shows – and if that doesn’t turn around soon, we may have to close our doors in the near future.
🎟 How you can help:
- Come to a show – every ticket and every seat matters!
- Spread the word – invite your friends, family, and neighbors.
- Donate if you can – every contribution helps us pay bills, bring in bands, and preserve our historic venue.
Donations can be mailed to:

Even a small donation makes a big difference! ❤️
