Theater Updates
The board continues to work on important items to help keep the theater going strong.
Roof Repairs
The theater is still gathering information and looking into additional bids for needed roof repairs. This is a major expense, so the board is continuing to explore options, including possible nonprofit-friendly pricing or assistance.
Facebook Page
Efforts are continuing to regain access to the theater’s original Facebook page. Recovering the page would help us reach more people and better promote upcoming shows.
Band Directory and Booking
Work is also continuing on a band contact directory to help organize performer information, past appearances, and future booking opportunities.
This should make it easier to keep shows on the calendar and reach out to musicians who may be interested in playing at the theater.
House Band and Open Mic Nights
The board has discussed the idea of having a “house band” style show on nights when an outside band is not available.
The goal is to keep music on the calendar, involve more local musicians, and give singers and performers a place to share their talents.
Our June 6 House Band Open Mic Night will be a great opportunity to try this idea and enjoy a fun evening together.
Thank You for Your Support
Attendance and donations are very important to keeping Cornhusker Country Music Theater open.
The theater has been part of the community since 1976, and we want to continue providing a place for live country music for years to come.
You can help by:
- Attending shows
- Bringing friends and family
- Sharing our events with others
- Donating if you are able
- Encouraging musicians to contact us about performing
Donations may be mailed to:
