We also welcome duet acts, and solo acts.. If they wish we can try and provide back up music for anyone that wishes to come and put on a show..

This is something that is ongoing with the Theater.. Bands will always be needed.. so if you know of a band or hear of a Band, Get our contact information to them so they can be recruited for our shows.. Thank You.

Artist of the month.

Ray Price

Noble Ray Price was born in January of 1926. in Wood county Texas

His baritone voice was considered one of the best male voices in Country Music.

Ray increased the popularity of Country music by changing his songs from 2/4 beat to a 4/4 beat.. Which became known as the Ray Price beat.

Some of the early titles he released were, Crazy Arms, Release me, Heartaches by the number. And a few others.

He roomed with Hank Williams for awhile, and when Hank passed away he attempted to manage Hank’s band called the Drifting Cowboys. This venture turned out to be unsuccessful for Ray.

Ray formed his own band the Cherokee Cowboys in 1953. some of the members of his band during the late 50’s and early 60s were Roger Miller, Willie Nelson, Darrell McCall, Van Howard Johnny Paycheck,

Johnny Bush, Buddy Emmonds and Buddy Spicher.
