January 2026 Newsletter

Happy New Year from Cornhusker Country Music Theater!
As we step into 2026, we want to wish all of our members, musicians, friends, and supporters a very Happy New Year. We’re grateful for everyone who walked through our doors, picked up an instrument, shared a song, or simply stopped in to listen over the past year. Your support keeps this historic venue alive, and we look forward to many more shows filled with music, memories, and good company in the year ahead.

📬 Stay in Touch

Our website is open to everyone — members and non-members alike. Whether you’re looking for upcoming shows, band details, or event times, everything is just a click away.

📅 How to find upcoming shows:
Go to Home → Upcoming Shows → Full Calendar, then click Details to learn more about each band.

The site works great on both computers and phones, so you can check show info anytime, anywhere.

🎟️ A Note on Attendance & Support

We truly need your help.

Attendance has been lower than usual, and at this time our expenses exceed our income. Without improvement, we may be forced to consider closing our doors, something we desperately want to avoid.

The Cornhusker Country Music Theater has been part of this community since 1976, and we would hate to lose such a special venue.

Luckily, with your help, it should be easy to keep our doors open! How you can help:

  • Attend shows whenever you’re able
  • Tell friends and family about us
  • Consider making a donation if you’re able

💛 Our members are our primary source of income, and every bit of support helps keep the music playing.

Donations may be mailed to:

🎸 Bands & Entertainment

Due to current financial challenges, we are unable to pay bands at this time, which has made booking performers more difficult.

If you enjoy live country music, please spread the word about our venue and encourage others to attend. Greater attendance helps us bring more live entertainment back to the stage.

🎶 January Entertainment Schedule

  • Jam Sessions: Every Sunday in January (all four Sundays)
