We also welcome duet acts, and solo acts.. If they wish we can try and provide back up music for anyone that wishes to come and put on a show..

This is something that is ongoing with the Theater.. Bands will always be needed.. so if you know of a band or hear of a Band, Get our contact information to them so they can be recruited for our shows.. Thank You.

The April Meeting was held on Wed May 1sts

Pres Rick Stephens brought the meeting to order at 5:30 PM

Topics of discussion

It was voted on and appoved by the board to purchase an ASCAP license for the Theater tailored to the needs of this establishment It will expand the music needs of the theater by letting us play some of the newer music, also in different categories.

Classic Country is still in as it always has been.. our goal is to possibly attract more bands, and attract more of a crowd to help the theater survive. It might also attract more people to become members

The cost of the license is $154 per year.

A benefit is being planned for June 8th here at the Theater for victims of Tornados in Nebraska. The raised monies will be given to the Red Cross of Nebraska to aid those who are in need.

Bands or duos will be needed for this benefit.

There have been many musicians who have stepped up in the past to help when disaster strikes, and for Families are in need of help with medical expenses.

I myself have played for benefits of the latter category and when you see how much money can be raised to help families who truly need the help, it gives a person a mighty good feeling,

Monthly meeting moved.

It was voted on and approved by the board to move the monthly meeting to the Third meeting of the month to avoid conflicts with the last monday being so close to the end of month and the the newsletter not getting out in a prompt manner which has happened this month.
